Annual percentage yield. On Ronnie this is a live snapshot of the current annualized rate, not a locked-in return.
Arbitrum
One of the chains Ronnie reads. An Aave v3 market lives there as its own pool.
Asset
A listed token in a market. Same as reserve in most Ronnie screens.
Available liquidity
Supplied minus borrowed, not below zero. Spare cash in USD terms.
Base
One of the chains Ronnie reads, with its own Aave v3 pool.
Block
A numbered batch of transactions. Higher block numbers are later.
Borrow
Taking tokens from the pool against collateral, creating debt.
Borrow APY
Current annualized variable rate paid by borrowers.
Borrow cap
Governance ceiling on how much of a reserve can be borrowed.
Borrow cap change
A configurator or governance update to that ceiling. Watch Governance and asset configuration.
Chain
A blockchain network. Ethereum and Polygon are different chains with different Aave pools.
Collateral
Supplied assets Aave may count toward borrowing power.
Collateral enable / disable
A wallet action that turns a supply into collateral or back off. May appear in the live tape under All.
Collector
Contract that receives protocol treasury accruals. Listed on Contracts.
Concentration
One asset or wallet making up a large share of supply, borrow, or collateral. Risk Monitor shows top asset share. Wallets warn at 70% in one collateral.

Pool configurator contract. Risk parameters, listings, and pauses are updated here.
Contract
A program at a blockchain address. Aave's Pool is the main lending contract.
Critical

Health Factor
Threshold-adjusted collateral value divided by debt. Below 1, Aave may liquidate. No debt means n/a.
Healthy
Ronnie band for Health Factor 2 or higher. A wide cushion, never a claim of safety.
Interest-rate strategy
The on-chain rule that maps utilization to APY. Ronnie shows the resulting APY, not the curve drawing.
Liquidatable
Health Factor below 1, Aave's eligibility line.
Liquidation
A third party repays debt and seizes collateral plus a bonus when HF is below 1.
Liquidation bonus
Extra collateral a liquidator receives as incentive.
