High utilization
Sort by Utilization. Open the market. See which reserve is the crowded one. Confirm on Risk Monitor, which lists reserves at or above 80%.
Low liquidity
Look at Available, not only percent. A 90% utilized pool with $500M supplied still has more cash than a 60% utilized micro-reserve.
Borrowing demand, large supply, large borrowing
- High borrowing demand: high utilization, high borrow APY, lots of Borrow events.
- Large supply: high TVL or high Supplied on the asset.
- Large borrowing: high Borrowed USD, or Borrow volume in the Overview window.
Changing APYs
Markets still shows a live snapshot, not a sparkline. Asset detail charts one week of supply APY from Aave MCP. Cross-Chain lists official v3 and v4 rates for the same symbols, including the highest enterable supply APY. Utilization pressure still comes from the live tape.
